Jushi Group Starts Up Record Breaking C-Glass Line

Jushi Group, a leading manufacturer of fibreglass and fibreglass fabrics, has started production on what it claims is the world's largest furnace drawing C-glass fibre production line. The new line is located at Jushi's Chengdu plant (China), and the firm plans to invest CNY 900M for another three years to build the largest C-glass fibre production base with an annual capacity of over 90,000 tons. Jushi Group is part of China Chemical Building Materials Co Ltd and is a joint venture with Chengdu Ju Feng Glass Co Ltd and Chengdu Zhenshi Investment Co, formed in March 2004. Output from the group amounts to 30% of China's total production.
