Jar Design Bears Fruit Of Success

Beatson Clark is supplying the Manchester-based preserves manufacturer James Robertson & Sons with a specially designed bear-shaped 340ml jar for its rasberry and strawberry jams. The design consists of three spheres, one each for the head, body and foot of the bear and its bodily features are sculptured into the spheres. The design was achieved through close cooperation between Beason Clark's design team, led by Alan Haigh, and the customer. The container's spherical composition enables it to be handled as a standard round container, which presents advantages on the filling line as the containers can roll past each other with ease.
