Japan'S 2016 Beer Shipments Fall To Record Low

Total shipments of beer and beer-like drinks in 2016 in Japan fell 2.4% from a year earlier to 414.76m/cases, 52.5m/hectolitres, marking a 12th yearly fall and a record low, data released by five major brewers has shown. The figure was the lowest since 1992 when comparable data became available.
