Japanese Glass Bottlers Association Visits Ardagh Irvine

Glass International reported 1st November, that Ardagh’s glass bottle manufacturing plant in Irvine, Ayrshire, UK played host recently to representatives from the Japanese Glass Bottlers Association. The group toured the plant, and were impressed by its general cleanliness and efficiency. They took particular interest in how the plant was increasing its use of recycled glass. “This is one of a number of visits to the plant by international groups, and it again gives us an opportunity to showcase the contribution we make to the spirits industry in Scotland and the local economy,” remarked Graeme Shepherd, Director of Operations, Irvine, Ardagh Glass UK.
