Italian-Based Glass Technologies To Supply Forehearths To Vetropack Austria

It was reported in a company press release that Glass Technologies will supply Vetropack Austria with a further two high performance forehearths to be installed at its factory in Kremsmunster by early 2001. The firm says it has designed and supplied all 7 forehearths already in operation in the factory, situated in north-west Austria. The new Furnace 1 production area consists of a 48" wide x 27" long forehearth designed for a pull of over 125 t/d and a K43/36" x 75" "Y" shape tandem forehearth designed for a pull over 115 t/d of green and amber glass.
