The Israeli government aims to draw up a rescue package for Phoenicia America-Israel (Flat Glass) Ltd. The company owes NIS 320/M (US$ 79M) mostly to banks and suppliers. It produces flat glass panels for the construction and solar panels industry. The company attributes most of its crisis to high energy costs, due to a delay in connecting the factory to a nearby natural gas pipeline.
