International Packaging Study Database

WRAP & PIRA have been scouring the world for numerous product & packaging innovations worldwide. Working with a range of locally-based contractors they have unearthed many successful retail packaging formats, product dispensing & distribution systems, merchandising approaches & product designs. This forms part of a wider programme of work by WRAP to stimulate retail innovation that is being undertaken on behalf of the UK Government. The image bank allows us to share discoveries & help identify opportunities to develop product & packaging innovations helping to reduce 30M/t household waste generated in the UK each year & at the same time reduce costs in the supply chain & add value to consumers. Each image is accompanied by key background information. There is the option to find out more by contacting a member of the Retail Innovation team. Users are also free to down-load the images for presentations to colleagues or to use as reference material during new product developmental projects.
