Integrated Conditioning Systems

The modular construction of the 400 Series range of forehearths and working ends from BH-F (Engineering) Ltd facilitates the modification of glass conditioning systems. BH-F installations are currently being used for a wide variety of glass types (soda lime, borosilicates, barium, lead crystal and fluorine opal) and production applications (containers, tableware, fibre, technical glass, light bulbs and tubes, TV glass, flat and automotive glass). Over fifty 400 Series working ends have so far been installed, the largest of which has a capacity of 400 t/day. In additon, over 600 forehearths, ranging in capacity from one to over 200 t/day are now in operation. BH-F also produces feeder mechanisms for use with its forehearths.
