[India] Saint-Gobain To Set Up 5Th Float Line

Saint Gobain has expressed its intention to set up another float glass plant in the near future, according to SG India's MD, Anand Mahajan. The company already operates four float glass sites in India. Two of its float lines are located in the Southern part of the country at Sri Permpudur. The company acquired its third float glass plant from Sejal Glass in the state of Gujarat. And, the company began production from its fourth float glass plant early 2015 at Bhiwadi in the state of Rajasthan. The Rajasthan site has an installed capacity of 1000/tpd and is the largest float glass plant in the country.
