Improved Silica Bricks

Utah Refractories Corp, an independent company based in Lehi, Utah, US, providing silica brick to worldwide primary glass producers, has developed two new compositions for its industry proven Gen-Sil silica brick line: GenSil OF and Gen-Sil Lite. GenSil OF is a purer and stronger ASTM type "A" silica brick giving increased cold-crushing strength and a reduction of 33% in calcium oxide. This, claims Utah Refractories, when used with the Gen-Sil Lite insulating silica brick, gives customers an improved crown life, together with an economical approach to the same. (whole item)
