ICS Inex Inspection Systems has introduced two new inspection machines to the glass industry: The MiniLab and the Gemini 3D, confirming predictions of an expanded product line after the company was formed in October 2004. The MiniLab is a glass sampling and inspection system, while the Gemini 3D is an inspection system that confirms product attributes of rigid containers with round or cylindrical shapes. The MiniLab is a dual-infeed inspection system that provides a turnkey sampling solution to confirm the quality of glass containers during production. It provides dimensional and finish inspection, plus pressure testing on glass containers.
