The Hydrolytic Stability Of Phosphate Glasses

This work deals with the possibility of using phosphate glasses as fertilisers. From this point of view, hydrolytic stability of these glasses is very important. Potassium phosphate glasses with micro elements (1-7 mol%) were prepared and DTA analysed. The results of the tests lead to the conclusion that these glasses would be appropriate for use as soil fertilisers.
