Highland Park'S £18M Investment

The 208-year old Highland Park brand looks set to become a key player in the whisky market with an £18M global investment plan. The producer of the Orkney single malt said it planned to double the brand's annual sales over the next 5 years to become one of the world's top 10 malts. A new bottle and pack - the result of a £750,000 packaging redesign, will be revealed in September at Whisky Live Glasgow. The bottle, which showcases the brand's Orkney heritage with inspiration taken from the island's Scandic roots, will go on sale in supermarkets from end Sept/06.
