High-Tech Lamp Plant Under Construction In China

German manufacturer High-Lux, based in Berlin, and CGE Continental Glass Engineering of Hamburg, have been working together on two new plants for the production of high quality, energy saving lamps for a manufacturer of colour TV tubes in Anyang, People's Republic of China. High-Lux develops and supplies complete lamp plants, including know-how for the production of compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) or energy saving lamps, for which soda-lime glass tubing is one of the main components.
