Raytek, manufacturers of IR temperature measurement instruments, has launched the MP 150 High-Speed Infrared Linescanner to provide one of the fastest and most complete non-contact temperature linescanning solutions. It features the latest electronics, optics, communications and mirror mechanisms and facilitates a scan speed of up to 150Hz, allowing the MP150 to gather complete data from very fast manufacturing processes. The product has been given further enhancements such as an expanded data collection capability (now measuring up to 1024 data points per scan) and a fiber optic communication system (to permit connection to existing fibre networks or to a PC). Fibre optic infrastructure avoids potential interference from strong EMI fields and protects the instrumentation from sudden power surges. DatTemp DP software has also been enhanced.
