Heye Repairs Continue Under Ardagh

Repairs at Heye Glas' furnace and production line at Germersheim in Germany will continue now the company has been taken over by Ardagh. The repairs began as scheduled on January 6th. Heye also has a three furnace factory at Obernkirchen. Ardagh agreed in December to acquire Heye and the takeover was effective from January 1. As well as Heye Glass, Ardagh has acquired the machinery maker Heye International and several subsidiaries. Insolvency administrators had run the Heye group for 18 months. (whole item)
