The Heye group has announced that, following its acquisition by the Ardagh Group of Ireland at the beginning of this year, the subsequent restructuring process at Heye has been completed. Ardagh has taken over the assets and liabilities of Heye's former business units and has founded two separate and independent companies: Hey International GmbH and Hey Glas GmbH. Both business units will operate separately as independent private limited companies under a holding company managed by Yeoman International/Ardagh. Ardagh is the market leader in the UK and a key player in the global container glass business. Yeoman Int/Ardagh operates two container glass firms in Europe - Rockware Glass in the UK, the biggest container manufacturer in the country, and Consumers Glass of Italy.
