Hankuk Electric Opens New Glass Bulb Plant

South Korean Hankuk Electric Glass has announced that it has opened its second glass bulb factory, which will be located in Kumi, South Kyongsang Province, South Korea. The new plant will have an annual production of 7m panels and funnels each for use in television display screens. The factory, which took 2 years and an investment of 140bn won (US$175m), boosted the company's total glass bulb production to 22m units annually.
