Gulf Glass - Profits On The Increase

Kuwaiti-based Gulf Glass Manufacturing Co announced 18 Oct/09 that its net profit jumped to 3.16M/KWD (US$ 11.1M or 7.4M/Euros) for the 9 month period ending 30 Sept/09 from 1.22M/KWD for the same period in 2008. Earnings per share (EPS) were 82.38 fils (1,000 fils = 1 Kuwaiti dinar) compared to 31.76 fils in 2008. Total assets increased to KWD 15.9/M at end-Sept/09 compared to KWD 15.1M at end-Sept/08. The company posted a net profit of KWD 1.17M for the third quarter of 2009, an increase from KWD 656,793 in the same period of 2008.
