Guardian'S Latest Float Plant Celebrates First Ribbon Pull

Guardian Industries has reached a production launch milestone at its Krasny Sulin (Rostov region) float glass manufacturing plant in Russia. The initial ribbon pull marking the beginning of production took place in mid-December. The US$220/m plant is Guardian's largest to-date, producing 900/tpd and will include an advanced glass coater. It will produce Guardian's high performance ClimaGuard (residential) and SunGuard (commercial) glass products for the construction of homes, offices, retail, health-care and other facilities.
