Guardian Buys Partner'S Equity In Thai Manufacturer

Guardian Industries is purchasing its partner's equity in Siam Guardian Glass Co, increasing its commitment to its Asian customers and the growth of the region. Siam Guardian was established in 1990 as a joint venture between Guardian and the Siam Cement Public Co, one of Thailand's leading industrial concerns. Siam Cement has decided to sell it stake in Siam Guardian glass and to focus on its three core businesses. With float plants in the Saraburi and Rayong provinces, Guardian manufactures clear and coloured float glass for the commercial and residential construction markets and for the automotive market. It also operates a mirror manufacturing line. All operations serve the entire Asia Pacific market.
