Carlsberg is to merge with the third largest brewer in the country, Olympic Brewery. The company, which owns the local Mythos brand, said that the move will result in the creation of a strong number two in the country and will account for 29% of the total beer market. Carlsberg will own 51% of the entity and has appointed Lars Lehmann as its chairman and Alexandros Karafillides as CEO.
