Allied Glass has recently manufactured a 50cl coloured glass bottle for Diageo's premium blended Scotch whisky Johnnie Walker Gold. This is a new sized bottle for this range of whisky, & produced for the first time in gold coloured glass. Ian Flockhart, sales & marketing director at Allied says his design team worked very closely with the client. The containers were made at the Knottingley factory using the colouring forehearth recently installed at the site. Mr Flockhart says the company is always delighted to work with Diageo. Johnnie Walker Gold is a blend of rare aged whiskies created originally in 1820 to celebrate 200 years since John Walker & the achievements of the Walker dynasty.
