Gob Temperature Control Strategy

Significant quality and throughput improvements to the glass container manufacturing process have been demonstrated by a control method that directly controls the gob temperature. The method combines ACSI's predictive-adaptive model-based control system with BASF's Exactus high speed optical gob temperature sensor.
