Gob Temperature Control With Combined Method

Improvements to the glass container manufacturing process have been demonstrated by a new control method that directly controls gob temperature. The method, from American company Advanced Control Solutions Inc (ACSI), combines ACSI's predictive-adaptive model-based control system with BASF's Exactus advanced high-speed optical gob temperature sensor for optimum results.
