Glittering Prizes

The winners of the Shine awards for glass packaging, organised by the Glasspac promotions arm of BGMC, have been announced at a ceremony in London's Imagination Gallery. Thatcher's Cider won the beers and ciders category; Martini Spirito won the pre-mixed spirits category; and Belvoir Presse won the non-alcoholic category. Hartley's Best won the foods category and the international award went to Sauza Tequila Three Generations. An unprecedented joint award was presented by the judges in the wines and spirits category to Gordon's and to Fire & Ice. The judgesalso presented commendations to William Grant's Family Reserve and to the Sauza range of packaging for tequila and pre-mixed spirits. Gordon's won the judges grand prize. (whole item)
