As the production arm of the international perfume packaging company Brosse, Union de l'Industrie Verriere has been able to concentrate on developing its own glassmaking technology. Recent projects have included automating the "semi-automatic" forming process and in collaboration with Gaz de France, reducing specific melting consumption by 40%.
