Rockware Glass has achieved "Select Status" recognition from Budweiser brewer Anheuser-Busch, as part of the brewer's Supplier Certification programme. Rockware is the first company outside the USA to earn this recognition. The award was presented during a ceremony at the glass makers Doncaster factory. The "Select Status" certification applies to Rockware's Knottingley and Doncaster manufacturing facilities. To achieve this status, suppliers must meet 54 quality systems requirements. Once reached, companies are eligible to obtain the "Select Status", the highest recognition in Anheuser-Busch's supplier certification programme. Rockware worked with Aheuser-Busch over a 12 month period to ensure that it successfully met the programme's demanding quality standards. (whole item)
