Glass Staircase

Asahi Glass has created the world's first glass spiral staircase, using a suspension structure. The transparent glass steps, which are suspended in spirals, look as if they are floating in the air. This innovation is available at the AGC studio. With the support of Hiroshi Ota, taking charge of design and planning, and Jun Sato, responsible for structural design, AGC successfully created suspended glass steps that stand unaided.
