Glass-Lined Reactors To Boom?

Germany's Pfaudler Werke, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of glass lined reactor systems for the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, is to mount an assault on the expanding Middle East market for anti-corrosion technology. A global market leader, Pfaudler has identified the region as one of the fastest growing markets for its products, citing increasing interest in glass lined vessels from the oil and gas industries worried about the long-term cost of corrosion. Although glass lined reactors were originally developed for the chemical industry, they can also be used by the pharmaceutical sector to produce ultra clean products to the highest international standards. Glass lined reactors are the first and best solution when a company has to deal with highly corrosive materials like acid. They offer the best protection against corrosion.
