Mirae Corp have produced a new glass forming machine (GFM), especially designed for flat fluorescent light (FFL), is used in producing lamps by shaping very thin glasses under 1mm. It is suitable for use in manufacture of light source for backlight unit of LCD TVs and flat lamp for typical lights. It provides uniformity of temperature that eliminates crack in high-temperature forming. In addition, it settles a consistent manufacturing process for lamp products before and after glass forming with stable transfer of glasses in high temperature. The adjustable capacity in terms of lamps is approximately 100,000 units per month. Currently, it can handle up to 26-inch mass production and the new system for over 32-inch will be launched.
