Glass For Europe'S Codes Of Practice

The association has developed a number of codes of practice in order to help users of glass to comply with CE marking and product specifications. These codes of practice concern the method of presenting values of thermal transmittance and total solar energy transmittance for insulating glass units; the evaluation of the colour of coated glass used in façades; and building regulations requirements for the thermal performance of windows. 1) Presentation of Performance Data for Insulating Glass Units According to European Standards; 2) In-situ Measurement and Evaluation of the Colour of Coated Glass used in Façades; 3) Building Regulations for Windows in European Countries; 4) Clarification of tolerances on declared values for radiation properties.
