Recent research by InSites Consulting, undertaken for Friends of Glass, an EU consumer forum that supports and promotes shoppers' rights to be able to choose food and drink products in glass containers, sheds some light on consumer packaging preferences, which showed that almost three quarters (74%) of the consumers asked (8000 across 17 EU countries), recommend glass packaging as the ideal food and drinks material.
