Glasphalt Tested By Canadian Glass Container Council

Despite the pessimism that emanates from Britain's Ministry of Transport Road Research Labs, research into the use of waste glass in road surfacing continues to be supported in N America. Now, Canada's Glass Container Council, following the lead given by universities and glass manufacturers in the USA, is sponsoring the experimental use of cullet in "glasphalt", which is the name coined for the experimental asphalt and glass road surfacing material which originated at the University of Missouri, USA.
