A Giant Of A Bottle

United Glass has created a new 660ml standard beer bottle to offer brewers a different size for premium packaged ales, lagers and ciders. UK brewer Wychwood, is the first to order the new bottle for its latest 4.7% volume premium ale, Goliath. The 660ml bottle is currently available in white flint, but in the longer term it will also be available in green and amber. Its tapered body is suited to pre-labelling with either shrink sleeves or clear film labels, removing an inconvenience for brewers and fillers.
