"This is a strategically important step to further develop the fast-growing pharma & healthcare markets of Russia & neighbouring regions," says Gerresheimer CEO Dr.Axel Herberg. The Group has been active in Russia for many years & has numerous customers there, e.g. supplying Moscow company Petrovax Pharm with large quantities of pre-sterilized RTF® (Ready To Fill) syringes for vaccines. The business in high-quality pharma vials/ampoules is also well established. Regional representation will contribute to intensification of sales operations & also customer advice/technical services. The Russian pharma industry has a strong interest in developing its quality & technologies together with competent partners.
