German-based Salvus Mineralbrunnen has been using the glass bottle, and sales are booming. In 2017 alone, the company achieved impressive growth in the double-digit range, with output totaling 155m fills. The company has once again opted for Krones technology and has upgraded an existing returnable glass line, refurbished by installing a new filler, labeller and empty-bottle inspector. The company recently confirmed it will now take delivery of a Krones fourth line, rated at 28,000 bottles per hour.
