According to provisional figures, 2007 was another record year for Gerresheimer AG. The pharmaceutical packaging company based in Düsseldorf, Germany achieved sales of EUR 957.7M, up 48.1%, while the adjusted group EBITDA margin reached 19%. "This gratifying development completely & fully confirms our strategy", said Dr. Axel Herberg, CEO of Gerresheimer AG. "With the help of acquisitions we have successfully expanded our global presence & set the course for further growth". Gerresheimer employs more than 10,800 people at 40 locations in Europe, America & Asia. In financial year 2007, worldwide sales totalled EUR 957.7M. The product portfolio ranges from pharmaceutical vials made of glass & plastic to complex drug-delivery systems for the pharma & life-science industry.
