[Germany] Krones Ag: "The Difficult Market Situation Does Not Allow Making A Serious Projection"

Germany's Krones AG announced its preliminary results and posted a 10.5% gain in revenue. The German machinery supplier for bottling and packaging said that according to preliminary calculations, revenue grew by 10.5% to 2,381 BN/Euros in 2008, more than the company expected. Krones said the company benefited from a strong demand in full-service solutions. Orders increased by 1.1% to 2,327BN/Euros. Krones expects the global financial crisis to impact revenue and profits through 2009. The difficult market situation does not allow making a serious projection for this year.
