Fused Glass And Resin

Pro-Fusion 2000, a glass processor based in Reading, is pioneering a blend of glass with bonded polyester resin to create products for interior design and decor. The blend of 60% glass, 25% resin, is ideal for decorative surfaces/lighting and can incorporate any cotton fabric fused in the glass and resin. The glass/resin mix can be made in large quantities at a very high quality and its durability means it can be used in large public places such as airports, restaurants, hotels and pubs. A new range of garden furniture is being created for 2004 using the material. The firm also supplies decorative lighting; tiles; glass; stained glass; mosaics; and water features.
