Furnace Equipment Innovations Announced

Intco has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of three different products. The Intco Mo 999 high purity molybdenum melting electrode has good creep resistance at high temperatures, as well as high thermal shock resistance. It is available with various threads, the maximum being a total length of 2m, with a diameter of maximum 3in. Another recent introduction is Intco MIPO 95, a micro porous insulation material with good thermal insulation performance, reportedly up to five times higher than ceramic or mineral fibres. This material has the distinction of being easy to use, while exhibiting dimensional stability at any temperature and offering high resistance to compression. Various rigid panel versions are available, all without asbestos or ceramic fibres. Intco also focuses on supplying dense zircon Intco ZB65HD and dense chrome materials in various compositions. These materials are used primarily in glass fibre furnaces, TFT furnaces and in the reinforcement of the barrier wall and throat of glass container furnaces.
