French wine producer Castel Group announced recently it will bottle its wines in PET if the price of glass continues to rise through 2008. The company siad that it would make the move "if supply difficulties persist and prices increase." Frank Crouzet, Communications Director, described the current situation of intermittent bottle supply from the two main French producers Saint-Gobain & O-I BSN as "inadmissible."
