French glassmaker, Saverglass, a specialist in bottles, carafes & luxury flacons, has been acquired by the investment fund Natexis Industrie for around 170M/Euros. Located at Feuquieres, in the Oise department, until now Saverglass was owned by the Desjonqueres family. The family company bearing the same name was taken over by Saint-Gobain in 1969, but in 1976, the family bought the subsidiary back from the French group. Saverglass makes a turnover in the region of 200M/Euros and has 1600 employees. Natexis Industrie also owns French PET resin producer Tergal Fibres.
