[France] New Furnace For Bsn Glasspack

BSN Glasspack (O-I Group), has inaugurated its number 3 furnace at its Veauche (Loire) site. The furnace can melt more than 100,000/pa, producing around 150M bottles. At the firing ceremony, the group's management recalled that the furnace is evidence of BSN's Euros 30M five-year modernisation programme. In addition to the reconstruction of two furnaces, the manufacturer has also renovated the plant's two cold end sectors and renewed the bottle manufacturing machine park. The Veauche plant is dedicated to wine and spirits bottles in particular and has 330 employees.
