The EC's Standing Committee on the Food Chain & Animal Health has adopted two new measures. The first will amend the rules on food contact plastics & the second lays down provisions on the use of plasticisers in lid gaskets intended to come into contact with food. The first measure is Commission Directive 2007/19/EC which was published in the OJ 31 March 2007 (OJ L91 31.3.2007 p.17-36). The second measure, Comm Reg (EC) No 372/2007, was published in OJ 3 April 2007(OJ L92 3.4.2007 p.9-12).
