Ecool compressor fluid, a synthetic coolant used in the Ecoair A-series & D-series rotary screw compressors has demonstrated its excellent environmental properties with special recognition under the latest stringent rules for the waste treatment industries in both the UK & Germany. Ecool is standard fill in all new coolant-flooded rotary screw compressors from Ecoair, but the company is now offering a Green Kit, for converting existing compressors. Under German waste treatment laws, Ecool is similarly defined as a pentaerythritol fatty acid ester. This mirrors the definition in the UK & allows users in both countries of Ecoair A-series and D-series compressors, to discharge compressor condensate containing traces of Ecool fluid directly into a drainage system that has downstream sewerage treatment, using biological purification methods.
