A long-term study of the deformation of glass under constant stress and the relaxation under constant deformation has been carried out. The usual manifestations of delayed elasticity are described. Some results on the variation of elastic modulus with temperature are given and although the effects of delayed elasticity are ascribed to a range of parameters no attempt is made to quote experimental values of parameters or of the associated 'relaxation spectra'.
