Linder, based in Germany, has improved its feeder type 316 with the feeder type 316/S. The firm says this new development combines the advantages of special gob feeders with he relatively cost-effective construction of conventional feeders. The result is a system forming the basis for high quality articles due tot he possibility to feed extremely hot glass. The feeder operates as a gob feeder with drop weights of up to more than 2kg and working speeds from the standard range down to one cut per minute. It can also be used as a stream feeder without the need for conversion.
