Horn Glass Industries has agreed five projects with Gujarat Glass of India. As well as supplying and building a 100/tpd regenerative end-fired furnace for a factory in Kosamba, Horn is building a similar furnace for the Jambusar plant. Horn also supervised the repair of a 45/tpd end-fired furnace at the Kosamba plant. A 75/tpd furnace at the same plant is currently being redesigned for commissioning March 2008 and a 230/tpd end-fired furnace is currently being hot-repaired. All furnaces are for the production of containers for pharmaceutical and cosmetics purposes.
