Fibreglass Windows

Octaveward Ltd, a manufacturer of maintenance free building products based in Lancashire, has invested £500,000 to begin production of a new type of window. Fibreglass windows are used in countries such as Canada and Scandinavia, as they are said to insulate homes more effectively than regular UPVC windows. Trevor Williams, sales and marketing director for Octaveward, said the company's commitment to further expansion in both jobs and new products was paramount to its overall ambition of being the largest independent manufacturer of low maintenance building products in the UK. "These windows provide a solution for all building applications where low-maintenance is a key requirement, coupled with the need for a sustainable material", he said. (whole item)
